In the early morning hours of June 28th, Officers observed a car travelling eastbound on East Third Street, as it approached Washington Avenue. The car failed to stop until about a car length past the stop line. It continued eastbound, weaving, and driving in the middle of the road. Officers initiated a traffic stop at East 3rd Street and South Engineer Avenue. The driver was impaired and unable to operate a vehicle safely. Whitney Lynn Raymond, 36, of Sedalia, was arrested on a charge of Driving While Intoxicated (Drugs). Raymond was booked and released at the Pettis County Jail.

Monday night, a van was stopped in the area of Winchester Drive and West 10th Street after several moving violations. The van also had a brake light out. After an investigation, it was determined the driver was impaired by a drug or drugs and unable to operate a vehicle safely. Ryane A. City, 32, of Sedalia, was arrested on a charge of Driving While Intoxicated (Drugs). City was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked and released.


 

Officers stopped a truck in the area of West 11th Street and South Carr Avenue Tuesday morning. The truck was stopped because it had no plate lights and because it had conducted an improper turn. The driver was intoxicated by drugs. Justin E. Parker, 44, of Eldon, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (Drugs). Parker was booked and released at the Pettis County Jail.


 

Tuesday evening, a wallet was brought to the Police Department after being found in the 1300 block of South Prospect Avenue. Officers were unable to make contact with the owner.
