Sedalia Police Reports for June 4, 2024

Monday morning, Officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of South Harrison Avenue for a report of a bike theft. Officers arrived on scene and spoke with Stacy Lyn Evans, as well as the victim, over the incident. Officers gathered information to create a report.
On the afternoon of May 30th, Officers responded to the lobby of the Police Department to receive found property. The property had been found at the B&B Galaxy Theater, 4104 West Main Street. Officers gathered the items and created a report.
Tuesday morning, Officers responded to the Bothwell Hospital for a report of a subject trespassing. Jonathan Michael Roste, 35, of Blue Springs, was placed under arrest. Roste was placed on a 24 hour hold for Trespassing in the 1st Degree and Interference With a Health Care Facility*.

Monday night, Officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of South Washington Avenue in regards to a harassment and stalking incident. Upon arrival, Officers spoke with the reporting party and gathered information for a report.
Sedalia Police took a theft report from Michelle Webb on Monday night. A bicycle had been stolen at some point on June 2nd from the 2300 block of East Broadway Boulevard. Information for a theft report was collected.
*574.203. Interference with a health care facility, offense of — workplace violence, hospital duties — violation, penalty. — 1. Except as otherwise protected by state or federal law, a person, excluding individuals seeking mental health, psychiatric, or psychological care or any person who is developmentally disabled as defined in section 630.005, commits the offense of interference with a health care facility if the person willfully or recklessly interferes with a health care facility or employee of a health care facility by:
(1) Causing a peace disturbance while inside a health care facility;
(2) Refusing an order to vacate a health care facility when requested to by any employee of the health care facility; or
(3) Threatening to inflict injury on the patients or employees, or damage to the property of a health care facility.
