Bragging Rights Are Getting Serious With Wingfest 2024

I don't know about you guys, but my boyfriend, NJ, is not a cook.

Now don't get me wrong. He can do the basics. He does a mean stir-fry, and he of course can handle a grill anytime you need him. But most of the time, I'm the one doing the cooking, and he's the one doing things like fixing my internet connection and moving heavy furniture, stuff like that. You know, the stuff you save for the "Boyfriend Tasks" list.

He's got a few things I make that he really likes. I do a "doctored up" ramen noodles, for example. I add in eggs and veggies and all that goodness (also, if you haven't cooked your noodles in broth or stock, TRY IT). But his favorite thing that I make for him is chicken wings. He looooooooooooves my chicken wings. Which really aren't even that fancy; it's just your basic seasonings and whatnot.

But he loves them, and its mostly because he is a connoisseur of chicken wings. Not enough that you'd want to roll your eyes if he spoke, but he knows what's good and he knows what he likes. And he likes chicken wings. Lots of different kinds!
