If you're running late because you hit the snooze button this morning, don't worry.  You're not the only lazy bastard out there.  JUST KIDDING.

According to a new survey, more than HALF of us hit the snooze button on our alarm clock at least once a week . . . even though a few extra minutes of sleep have basically NO effect on how well-rested you feel.

And hitting snooze doesn't just make you rush.  According to the poll, a lot of people are missing out on some pretty important things because of it.  50% of the people who said they regularly hit the snooze button admitted they sometimes have to skip BREAKFAST because of it.  And 40% said it's made them skip a morning workout.

But this might be the worst one.  25% of regular snoozers said it sometimes causes them to miss out on quality time with their FAMILY in the morning.  In other words, hitting the snooze button makes you a hungry, weak, terrible parent.

This is one thing in life that I never do.  More often than not, I'm awake maybe five to ten minutes before my alarm goes off.  And I never hit snooze. I just lay in bed til it goes off and bam, get the heck up.  Sometimes I'll get up before it goes off, if I'm Really awake and don't think I'll be able to relax about it. If I'm that awake, why bother Husbando with the noise?

I may have my vices and my faults in life, but.. I'm not an alarm snoozer.  I think it started being a thing with me in college - the guy in the room next to ours was a big time snoozer, and you could hear it every ten minutes for hours at a time.  So annoying.

Anyway, now, no snoozing for me.  What about you - are you a person who pushes the snooze button?  Do you do it for a long time, or is it just a "two more minutes" thing?

Alarmingly yours,

Behka
