Kids,  I know first hand that a lot of people around here are very family oriented.  People like to help.  People like to get their kids involved in all sorts of activities for their greater good. But, what can you do that will help those organizations keep up the good work?  Here's a great way to help.

Since the weather's given us a bit of a break, what you need to do is go through that attic and basement, maybe the garage or the storage unit even, and get rid of some of that extra clutter.  Then, you can donate it to the Boy Scouts of Troop 50 for their big fundraiser coming up in September.  I figure telling you about it now will give you the chance to really free up some of that clutter and old stuff you don't even think about anymore.

You can even arrange for the Scouts to come get it for you, taking all the work out of it.  To set up an appointment for pick-up of your items, give Shelby a call at 287-0059.  They'll take items until September 12, and then they'll need a few days to sort through it all.

Then, once you're free of all your junk, you can go garage saling again!  Think of all the neat stuff you can pick up now that you've got room for it!  All those cute salt and pepper shakers, that bread maker you've been looking for for ages, and maybe even some new Christmas sweaters! The ideas must be racing through your minds.

Even better, why not stop by the actual Boy Scout Fundraiser sale on September 15, and help out again by buying someone else's treasures.

Check it out for yourself, and for a great cause.

Scoutily yours,

Behka
