Touch a Truck, Feel the Magic—Sedalia Kids Go Full Firefighter!
Guys, when we were little, big vehicles always fascinated us. Practically every kid I knew back in the day had a least one dump truck toy, and half the time the girls stole them to make Skipper get a job.
I'm just saying. She don't get to live in the Dream House for free.

Over the years, I'm sure you've seen firetrucks and ambulances and big vehicles at events throughout the area. And it's always a lot of fun, but there's always that nagging doubt in the back of parent's minds when it comes to events like this. Like, okay, you know there's going to be an event where a firetruck will be on... Sunday, for example. You tell your kiddo about it and they're all kinds of excited. It's all they talk about all week. They're telling you what they're going to ask the firefighters, they're asking you what buttons they could push, and frankly, you used it just a little as an incentive to keep the kids in line.
It was great, but...that was a while ago. The kiddos are starting to forget the smell of a firetruck cab. They're a little cranky, and they're jonesin' for a new experience.
Our local Wal Mart is hosting a Touch a Truck party coming up in a couple of weeks!
Come join us for a fun and exciting Touch a Firetruck event. The SFD will be at Walmart Supercenter in Sedalia on Saturday, June 21st, at 8:30am - 12:00pm. Come see a real firetruck up close and meet local firefighters!
Yes, they will be there, and they'll be ready to not only meet the kids, but explain what ALL the buttons do. They'll get to ask about hoses, ladders, fire equipment, all of it. And, this is a great opportunity for you to not only meet your local Firefighters, but to take a second to shake their hands and say thanks.
So make sure to mark it down on the calendar - it's coming up on the morning of June 21st!
Truckingly yours,
Behka
