Sedalia Police Reports for December 7, 2023

Tuesday afternoon, Officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of East 10th Street to investigate a report of harassment. Information was gathered from the reporting party, and a report was completed.
On the evening of December 1st, Officers responded to the 1200 block of South Brown Avenue for a report of a domestic disturbance. The disturbance had escalated into an intentional motor vehicle crash. Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that one suspect operated a motor vehicle across town, intentionally ramming the victim's vehicle. The victim's vehicle had fled the scene in an attempt to get to the Police Department for assistance. Five days later, Austin August Boatcher, 26, of Sedalia, was arrested for felony Assault in the 2nd Degree, and Armed Criminal Action. Boatcher was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked.
Wednesday evening, Officers responded to the Bothwell Hospital regarding a report of a dog bite. Upon arrival, Officers spoke with both parties. The dog bite took place in the 600 block of East 12th Street. The necessary information was gathered to generate a report about the incident.
Sedalia Police responded to an unnamed business in the 3100 block of West Broadway Boulevard for a report of a disturbance. The reporting party stated a physical disturbance was already in progress. Once on scene, a primary aggressor was determined. Robin A. Lawson, 49, of Sedalia, was arrested for Aggravated Assault in the 3rd Degree and Property Damage in the 2nd Degree. Lawson was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be placed on a 24-hour hold.
