Thursday evening, Officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of South Warren Avenue in reference to a burglary. While Officers were on scene, the suspect returned. Anthony Jimmy Street Jr., 41, of Sedalia, was arrested on a charge of Burglary in the 1st Degree. Street was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked and placed on a 24-hour hold.


 

Officers conducted a vehicle stop at South Engineer Avenue and East 17th Street Thursday night. Officers made contact with the driver, checked her information with Dispatch, and confirmed she had a revoked driving status. Susan Dawn McNeal, 42, of Sedalia, was arrested on a charge of felony Driving While Revoked. McNeal was transported to the Pettis County Jail, where she was placed on a 24-hour hold.

Sedalia Police conducted a warrant check in the 500 block of South Grand Avenue Thursday evening. Officers made contact with the subject, and checked his information through Dispatch. It was confirmed he had an active warrant out of Pettis County from January 2023 for Failure to Appear on an original charge of Passing Bad Checks. Tristen Mikal Leavitt, 26, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked, pending a cash only bond of $250.00.


 

On the evening of January 31st, Officers were dispatched to the lobby of the Sedalia Police Department because a female subje3ct wanted to turn herself in on a warrant for her arrest. Melissa N. LeFevers, 41, of Warsaw, was booked in on her Failure to Appear warrant on original charges of Building Code Violations*. Bond was set at $60.00 cash only.


 

Officers conducted a warrant check in the 600 block of East 3rd Street Wednesday afternoon. Justin D. Woolery, 37, Homeless, was arrested for a Parole Violation warrant. Woolery was transported to the Pettis County Jail with no bond.


 

Wednesday morning, Officers were dispatched to a hit and run accident that occurred near the intersection of East Broadway Boulevard and South Massachusetts Avenue. Tow large vehicles hit mirrors, and one left the scene.
