Tuesday night, Officers conducted a warrant check in the 400 block of East Boonville Street. Officers were able to make contact with the subject, check his information with Dispatch, and confirmed he had warrants for his arrest. One warrant was a Parole Violation stemming from an incident in 2022 on a charge of felony Violation of an Order of Protection (2nd Offense). The other was a warrant issued in January 2024 on a charge of felony Assault in the 3rd Degree and Property Damage in the 2nd Degree. Tristan Dale Fizer, 26, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked on his active warrants*. Total bond on both warrants combined was set at $28,500 cash or surety.

On the evening of January 26th, Officers responded to the 1400 block of East 13th Street for a report of property damage. Upon arrival, Officers spoke with Charles R. Pritchard, and gathered information to generate a report.


 

Tuesday morning, Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of East 13th Street in reference to a burglary. The reporting party stated her boyfriend’s brother, who she has a full order of protection against, broke into her house and stole a box that belonged to the boyfriend. The suspect was not on the scene when Officers arrived. Charges will be requested from the state prosecutor for counts of Burglary in the 1st Degree and Violation of an Order of Protection.


 

Sedalia police were dispatched to the Police Department lobby for a found property report Tuesday morning. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with Devin Allan Mayfield, who stated he located a set of vehicle keys in the area of South Grand Avenue and West 7th Street. The keys were placed into found property.


 

*According to Casenet #23PT-CR00074, Fizer has also violated his probation on a charge of Domestic Assault in the 4th Degree. However, the docket does not list a warrant filed on that charge, or a bond amount. The original charge in that case was Domestic Assault in the 4th Degree.
