Tuesday night, Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle being operated by an individual with a revoked driving status on South Moniteau Avenue near West Broadway Boulevard. Pedro Marcos, 25, of Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Revoked. Marcos was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked and released.


 

Tuesday night, Officers responded to the 1600 block of East 7th Street in reference to an intoxicated subject. Officers made contact with the subject, who was passed out in the front yard of a residence and had urinated on himself. Sergei S. Gladush Jr., 45, Homeless, was arrested and transported to the Petti County Jail. Gladush was placed on a 12-hour protective custody hold.


 

Officers initiated a traffic stop on a red Mazda hatchback on Tuesday morning because it had no visible registration. Officers made contact with the driver, who stated he did not have a driver’s license. Officers checked the driver’s information, and nothing came back on file. After a fingerprint scan, the driver’s information was found in Nebraska, where his license was suspended. Jesus Javier Ayala-Onate, 29, of Omaha Nebraska, was arrested for Driving While Suspended. Ayala-Onate was booked and released at the Pettis County Jail.


 

Early Wednesday morning, Officers stopped a vehicle with expired temporary tags near West 16th Street and South Prospect Avenue. The vehicle’s driver was found to have a revoked driving privilege. Jessica Renee Jones, 35, of Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Revoked. Jones was released on scene with a citation. The vehicle was not towed, as there was another licensed driver in the vehicle.

Sedalia Police took a report of theft on Tuesday night. Angel Norberto-Pastor stated a theft occurred at the Wal Mart store, 3201 West Broadway Boulevard. Norberto-Pastor stated someone cashed their lottery ticket while they were speaking to an employee. As a result, $200 were stolen from them in the process.


 

Officers were dispatched to the 2400 block of West Main Street in reference to a disturbance Tuesday evening. When Officers arrived, they spoke to the caller, who stated a subject had damaged her vehicle and assaulted her. The suspect was located, arrested, and transported to the Pettis County Jail. Joshua Wayne Dickson, 26, of Sedalia, was arrested for Domestic Assault in the 4th Degree and Property Damage in the 2nd Degree. Dickson was placed on a 24 hour hold at the Pettis County Jail.


 

On the evening of July 9th, Officers conducted a warrant check in the 600 block of West 16th Street. Officers made contact with the subject, and ran her information through Dispatch. She was found to have two active Failure to Appear warrants from Johnson County. The citation, for a charge of Driving While Intoxicated as well as a charge of Failure to Drive on the Right Half of the Roadway Resulting in an Accident, was issued in June of 2023. After failing to appear in court, the warrant was issued in November of 2023, with a cash only bond of $500 on the DWI charge, and $100 cash only bond issued on the traffic charge. Elphidia Nikkita Ezekiel, 48, of Sedalia, was arrested for her two warrants.


 

Officers responded to a call of a burglary no longer in progress in the 1900 block of South Harrison Avenue Tuesday evening. Officers spoke with Joseph M. Jones, who stated the residence had been burglarized and damaged. Items were stolen from the residence, but no suspect was located.


 

Monday morning, Officers were called to the 600 block of East 14th Street for a report of found property. Upon arrival, Officers met with a caller, who works for the BRHC in the Hospital Security Department. The Officers stated a nurse was given small blue pills that were found in a room in the ER. The pills were collected as found property.


 

Monday afternoon, Officers were dispatched to the 4300 block of South Limit Avenue for a report of assault. Ashley Ray stated she had pulled over due to vehicle issues. While she parked, a blue Chevrolet sedan drove past her and shot her with small gel beads. There was no further information in the report.


 

Tuesday morning, Officers were dispatched to the National TV Sales and Rental, 1400 South Limit Avenue. Suite #10. Officers arrived on scene and gathered pertinent information regarding theft of rental property. Officers took the information from the complainant and a report was completed.


 

Monday morning, an Officer made contact with Laney Ann Crabtree in reference to a fraud report. The fraud allegedly took place in the 1000 block of Winchester Drive. The suspect was identified, and charges were submitted to the Pettis County Prosecutor.


 

Sedalia Police took a general information accident report on the morning of July 9th. Due to loose cargo on a trailer, a vehicle that is owned by the City of Sedalia was struck with debris on July 7th. Minor damage was caused to the vehicle.


 

Tuesday morning, Officers were dispatched to a theft report in the 600 block of South Barrett Avenue. Charles R. Card stated his mini-bike was stolen in the overnight hours between July 8th and July 9th.


 

Monday evening, Officers were dispatched to the lobby of the Police Department to speak with a subject. The suspect reported a violation of a Exparte/Order of Protection in the 300 block of West Broadway Boulevard. State charges are to be submitted upon the subject.
