Wednesday evening, Officers took a theft report from Margarett A. Hopkins in the 400 block of West Morgan Street. Hopkins reported her push lawn mower was stolen in the last 24 hours. Information for a report was collected.

Early Thursday morning, Officers made a traffic stop on a red Chevrolet truck for a lane violation in the area of West Broadway Boulevard and South Grand Avenue. One occupant of the vehicle had a warrant for his arrest. Jay John, 29, of Sedalia, was arrested for his Pettis County warrant on a charge of Assault in the 4th Degree. Bond was set at $1500 cash or surety.


 

Wednesday morning, Officers responded to the 4200 block of West Main Street in reference to found property. A wallet was found near some utility boxes in the area. The owner of the wallet was not located. The wallet was placed into evidence as found property.
