Wednesday night, Officers conducted a traffic stop on West 7th Street and South Kentucky Avenue on a vehicle with no headlights on. During the course of the investigation, it was determined the driver did not have a driver’s license. The driver was also intoxicated. Latasha Lynn Wolfe, 32, of Sedalia, was transported to the BRHC for a blood draw, and then to the Pettis County Jail. Wolfe was booked on charges of Operating a Motor Vehicle Without a Valid License, and Driving While Intoxicated (Drugs). Wolfe was booked and released.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was observed speeding on West Main Street and Thompson Road Thursday night. A computer check showed the driver to have a suspended driving privilege. Kourteney Jo Anna Parker, 27, of Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Suspended. Parker was transported to the Sedalia Police Department, where she was fingerprinted and issued a Uniform Traffic Ticket for DWS.


 

Early Friday morning, The Pettis County Joint Communications received a call in regards to a stolen motorcycle. The motorcycle was traveling eastbound in the 3600 block of West Main Street. Pettis County Deputies were able to locate the motorcycle. As they were getting ready to stop the motorcycle, the rider crashed and took off running. The rider was taken into custody a short time later. Kenneth Donavan Dobson, 19, of Sedalia, was arrested for Stealing a Motor Vehicle and Tampering With a Motor Vehicle in the 1st Degree. Dobson was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be placed on a 24-hour hold.


 

On the afternoon of September 4th, Rusty Hayworth entered the lobby of the Police Department to make a report. Hayworth wished to report a violation of an order of protection in the 100 block of West Main Street.


 

Officers took a report of theft from Elwanda Tanner Sunday afternoon. Tanner reported her lawn items were stolen from the 900 block of East Broadway Boulevard. The value of the items was not given in the report.


 

Wednesday evening, an Officer was dispatched to the lobby of the Police Department in reference to a property damage report. Stella Oetting reported that after an argument, some of her pictures were ripped up in the 300 block of McAnally Court.

Sedalia Police performed a traffic stop near East 16th Street and South Ohio Avenue on the afternoon of August 25th. The vehicle was stopped because it had improper registration. A check through Dispatch showed the driver’s license status was revoked. Billy Bernard Brown, 36, of Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Revoked. Brown was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked.


 

Detectives with the Sedalia Police Department as well as Pettis County Deputy went to the 19000 block of Whitfield Road as part of an investigation into a domestic situation on the morning of August 31st. Contact was made with the suspect, and he was arrested. Michael Colby Weatherly, 21, of Sedalia, was arrested for Stealing (Debit Card), two counts of Fraudulent Use of a Credit Device, and Nonconsensual Dissemination of Sexually Explicit Material. Weatherly was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be placed on a 24-hour hold.


 

Officers observed a subject operating a motor vehicle being operated by a subject whose driver’s license was known to be suspended. The traffic stop took place on West 13th Street and South Osage Avenue on the afternoon of September 7th. A check through Dispatch confirmed the driver’s license was suspended. Homer Charles Jacob Lucas Jr., 41, of Otterville, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County jail to be booked for Driving While Suspended.


 

Wednesday morning, Officers responded to the 200 block of South Stewart Avenue in reference to report of property damage. Upon arrival, Officers met the resident, who stated a front window had been damaged while they were away. Officers observed the window had been shattered, possibly by a pellet or BB gun. At the time of the report, there is no suspect information.


 

Last Thursday afternoon, Officers performed a traffic stop on a car near East 7th Street and South New York Avenue because it had expired registration. A check through Dispatch showed the driver’s license was revoked. Aaron Dale Fisher, 57, of Sedalia, was arrested. Fisher was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked and released on a charge of Driving While Revoked.
