Applebee’s Will Offer $1 Long Island Iced Teas In December

I think December could be an interesting month.Back in October, you might have gone in to Applebee's here in Sedalia and taken advantage of the $1 Margarita. They called them Dollaritas.  I think I had one. But then, I'm a sucker for any drink with salt on the rim.

And now, here for the Holiday Season, Applebee's is back at it.  This time, they're doing a one dollar mixed drink.  It's a Long Island Iced Tea. Now you  might be asking yourself, "What the heck is in a Long Island Iced Tea?" Well, I'll tell you! It's a mix of vodka, rum, gin, tequila, triple sec, and sweet & sour mix, with a splash of cola. So it's pretty serious. I personally don't really drink brown liquors, they tend to make me sick. But, I'll have to try it, I think!

I wonder what's so Long Island about it, though? Maybe that's the secret!  Either way, stay safe out there and drink responsibly.
