Guys, I don't know about you, but when I was a step-parent, there was one thing universally known by all parents when it came to kids and art projects.

Give a kid a paintbrush and five minutes—they’ll repaint your soul... and probably your dog.  When kids paint, the only thing that’s safe is the ceiling.  Maybe.  If you're lucky.  And you want your kids to have those experiences, but... if there was only a way where you could let them have the experience...without the mess in your house.  Well, I've got you.

So What Is It?

The Art Room is bringing back Art Camp in June!

Join us for another summer of Art Camps! New projects, new techniques, and all kinds of new ways to have fun creating art!

They've got a few different classes, and they're based on ages. There's a Pre-K group, then K-3rd grade, 4/5th graders, and then 7/8th graders.  You can find out more about pricing and sign ups here.

Wait, I Heard They're Closing?

No.  But you wouldn't be completely off track if you heard that.   The owners made sure to elaborate on what's going on, and what will happen - and it's all good.

The Art Room isn't going anywhere right now and we're full steam ahead for Art Camps. The business has been sold and the new owner will be taking over September 1st. The Art Room will remain where it is until the building sells.

Now keep in mind, that's dated from 2023, so it might have been talking about a previous year's art camp. But, it is their pinned post, and I know things can take a while to transition, so just in case, I thought I'd include it.  Either way, you don't have to worry about any interruptions to the Art Camp this year.  If you've got questions, you can just call 'em at 660-851-2392.

And you know how it is.  Painting with kids: 10% art, 90% cleanup, 100% worth it.

Artistly yours,
Behka
