What Do You Hate Most About Office Meetings?

Every now and then, we here at the stations have to have a company wide conference call. Most of the time they're just a "State of the Union" thing.  I find if I sit in these things for too long.... it can get a little dry.  I might not be alone, though. A management training site called GiveMore.com conducted a survey on why work meetings are so frustrating.  Here are the things we hate the most:

#1.)  Allowing people to ramble and repeat the same comments and thoughts.

#2.)  Meetings that don't start on time, stay on track, or finish on time.

#3.)  Not getting any specific things to work on after the meeting.

#4.)  Meetings that have no clear purpose or objective.

#5.)  Meetings that aren't inspiring or motivating.
